In the modern world, telecommunication drives the economy of a country. Just look at the entire economy come to a standstill when there is a hurricane and telecommunication networks get disrupted. Further, when there was Tsunami in some countries a few years back, due to a lot of calls being made, a lot of mobile phone networks broke. This caused a lot of panic.
